About Us
1. Q: What raw materials are used for headbands?
A: They are divided into two major categories: stainless steel and non‑stainless steel materials.
2. Q: What types of stainless steel raw materials are there? What are their main characteristics?
A: The stainless steels used for headbands are mainly SUS301 and SUS304. Their biggest feature is rust resistance, so no surface anti-corrosion treatment is required. The final surface can be finished by drawing, sandblasting, polishing, etc.
3. Q: What types of non‑stainless steel raw materials are there? What are their main characteristics?
A: This type of material refers to spring steel. The common domestic grade is 65 Manganese. It features high elasticity, good recovery, and low cost, but it corrodes and rusts easily, so surface anti-corrosion treatment is mandatory. Common surface treatments include painting, electrophoresis, electroplating, etc.
4. Q: What material is SUS301EH?
A: SUS301 comes in various hardness grades: 1/4H, 1/2H, 3/4H, H, EH, etc., for different applications. For headband production, SUS301 grades H and EH (extra hard) are generally selected. SUS301EH is the hardest grade of SUS301, characterized by high hardness and good elasticity but relatively low toughness. SUS301H provides satisfactory hardness and elasticity while maintaining certain toughness.
5. Q: In what cases is SUS304 used?
A: For narrow-width headbands that are difficult to slit, only SUS304, after being hardened by rolling, can be used to make headbands.
